Luciano Griessi is a Creative Director from Patagonia, Argentina. Before advertising gave him a profession, travel gave him a point of view. A lifelong traveler, he has made his way through more than 50 countries, collecting different ways of seeing, living, and understanding the world. Asking him to pick a favorite is probably a bad idea.

He began his career in Argentina at Grey, JWT, and DDB. Four years in, he was named Best Creative Copywriter by the Argentine Creative Circle, a recognition that helped open the door to the U.S.

He arrived in Boston as a Creative Director at Arnold (Havas), then moved to New York to join Terri & Sandy, and later west to Los Angeles and Conill Saatchi & Saatchi.

Over the years, Luciano has worked with brands including Toyota, Burger King, Jack Daniel’s, Volkswagen, Ford, Progressive Insurance, the Red Cross, and many others. His work includes Getty Images’ “The Worst Photos,” the Red Cross’ “Run.For.Life,” and LALCEC’s “Sun Lifeguard,” all awarded at Cannes Lions and other major international festivals.

Other work throughout his career has also been recognized by D&AD, The One Show, Clio, LIA, New York Festivals, and others.

More recently, he founded his own AI creative studio, exploring how new technology can stretch the possibilities of an idea.

He still likes the same part of the job he did at the beginning: when there’s nothing on the page yet.Awards
